In partnership with Taichung Municipal Wen-Hua Senior High School, the Center launched the “Mandarin × Local Culture for Sustainability – Young Masters” Winter Camp (January 27–28, 2026). The program integrates Mandarin language teaching theory, local cultural knowledge, and cross-cultural communication skills, using Taichung’s Old City District as the main experiential setting. In late March, camp participants will further apply what they have learned by leading the 2026 Spring Term’s international students on in-depth cultural walking tours.
Our vision for Mandarin education has never been limited to educators or policymakers alone. We aim to continue cultivating strong local roots so that Mandarin becomes part of daily life and culture becomes a living practice. Through the fresh perspectives of youth, we hope to reinterpret the value of local culture, fostering warm bridges that connect Taiwan with the world.
