Although it was only two weeks, on this land bathed in sunshine, the children used their smiles and hands to write page after page of their growth stories.
We walked together into the forest, listening to the sound of the wind; we climbed to the treetops, embracing nature’s embrace with all five senses.
In the traditional market, we discovered the flavors of a city; in the soil, we learned about teamwork and patience.
We danced to Indigenous rhythms, learning respect and understanding; we crafted our own tote bags and treats, discovering that everyone can create something truly unique and beautiful.
An embrace of culture and land, a journey of self-discovery through laughter and sweat. Thank you to these wonderful children for making this summer truly special.
