We are sincerely grateful to the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) for the kind invitation, which allowed our center to represent schools in the Central Taiwan at the “2025 National Symposium for Mandarin Educators at Universities and Colleges.”
During the panel discussion titled “From Mountains and Seas to Streets and Alleys: Sharing Cultural Experience Teaching Across Taiwan,” we had the opportunity to present our center’s uniquely developed cultural experience activities.
To our education team, language and culture go hand in hand. The learning experience of international students in Taiwan should be layered from the inside out, while the experiences they gain should be internalized from the outside in.
How we utilize and integrate resources both within and outside the school—including those from the surrounding city and region—into cultural activities is how we aim to create a distinctive path forward. We hope to share this journey with fellow Mandarin educators and grow together.
