Tunghai University Chinese Language Center

During the summer vacation in 2024, the Chinese Language Center of Tunghai University will integrate the story of the pangolin, ecological sustainability, space, and community regeneration. They will lead children to joyfully learn Mandarin and explore the local culture of central Taiwan on the beautiful campus. Apart from language classes divided according to proficiency in Mandarin, opportunities will also be provided for children to engage in cultural and natural experiences in central Taiwan, learning how to coexist harmoniously with the community, environment, and flora and fauna.

• Date：7/8~7/12; 7/15~19, 2024 (Weekdays only; 10 days in total)
• Application Requirements and Applicants：30 aged 9 to 12 international children who wish to learn Chinese during their summer months in Taiwan. Those who don’t meet the age requirement are not able to apply. The camp will not open unless the quota is not fully filled.
• Tuition：30,000 NTD per child, including lecturer fees, meal coats, material costs, culture experience, entry fee, insurance premiums
• Application Deadline：Until the session is full. 30 accepted & 5 on wait-list.
• Basic Information of the application：

1. Please submit online application by filling out the Google form. Please remember to download the camp rules, parental consent form and read thefollowing information and  sign the parental consent notice. Please send the forms with the copy of the passport and 2X2 inches headshot of the child to  clc@thu.edu.tw.
2. After submitting the application and the application materials, we will email you payment notice and reserve the place for three days. Please make the payment before the  deadline, or the application will not be completed and the quota will not be reserved.
3. The payment methods accepted are "international wire transfer," "domestic bank transfer," or "cash payment in person at our center." We regret to inform  you that we cannot  accept any other forms of payment.
